There were 58 single-family homes sold in Providence in March 2022, a 21 percent decline from the 73 homes sold in March 2021, according to the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. The median price was $306,000, an 18 percent jump from $259,000 in March 2021. The average number of days on the market for Providence houses fell 30 percent.
